Dear Colleagues,        11 April 2008

The Secretariat General of European Herpetological Society (SEH) decided to held 15. European Congress of Herpetology in Turkey. The presidency of the organization committe has been assigned to myself. First of all, I would like to thank SEH secretariat for their confidence. It is a great honor for us to carry out such an important organization here in Turkey.

The 15th European Congress of Herpetology will be held between 28 September - 2 October 2009 in Kuşadası, AYDIN. Kuşadası is a valley of civilization. Herodotos (I 142) has found those Ionians who used to live in the region "fortunate to build their cities in the most favourable position for climate and seasons''.

While having successful and satisfying scientific program, we wil try to share as much time as possible for social programs to provide you oppurtunity to visit historical and natural sites and to relax.
